Muse Cosmetic injectables has recently started stocking the Arnicare range in their cosmetic injectables clinic in Melbourne. The Arnicare team chatted with founder Monique about her cosmetic injectables clinic and her top tips for reducing bruising after lip filler which includes the most popular product from the Arnicare range, the Arnica lip balm.


Monique the Arnicare team would love to hear a little bit about your new cosmetic injectables clinic, where is your clinic located?

Muse Cosmetic Injectables was founded in 2022 by registered nurse, Monique. The clinic is located in Lower Templestowe, Melbourne Victoria. Monique's goal is to provide cosmetic injections to enhance one's natural beauty and always strives to leave her clients feeling beautiful and confident in their own skin. Treatments currently offered at Muse Cosmetic Injectables include anti wrinkle, lip dermal filler and cheek dermal filler with the aim to expand treatment options in the near future.

Bruising is an unfortunate side effect to lip filler. What are your top tips for avoiding bruising after lip filler?

My top tips to avoid bruising after lip filler treatment include: avoid alcohol 24 hours before/after treatment, avoid high intensity exercise for 24 hours after treatment, apply ice or a cold compress to the lips frequently for at least 48 hours after treatment and lastly, of course, to assist with reducing bruising apply Arnicare lip balm which is available for purchase at my clinic.


PDO threads and Biostimulator injections have seen a rise in popularity over the past year. What trends are you noticing in the cosmetic injectables industry?

I think most clients are after a more natural appearance now when it comes to cosmetic injectables rather than their treatments being noticeable and looking overdone which may have been more popular in the past. The injectables industry has seen a lot of clients wishing to dissolve their previous filler to instead achieve a look that enhances their natural beauty rather than transforming the way they look. I also think a lot of clients are more educated and focused on skin care which is the first step in the anti ageing process.
