Arnicare was so lucky to be able to showcase our range of cosmetic injectables aftercare at the Geelong Womens Business Club meeting held at Rydges in Geelong last Saturday night. The Arnicare team took the divide and conquer approach, as Ash was in Sydney at an Aesthetic medicine conference, Sam flew solo at the event to showcase the Arnicare range. It was an amazing event and a great way to network with other business owners in the Geelong region and talk through some of the challenges and success stories. We were very pleasantly surprised to see a number of cosmetic injectors from around Geelong at the event and talk about the latest trends in the aesthetic medicine industry and our respective businesses.

 Sam on behalf of Arnicare spoke about the length of time it took to create the Arnicare range (nearly a year) and some of the challenges with other businesses that copy word for word information from websites or products which can be disheartening. Mia Plecic actually spoke to this and showed a real-world example of how like Woolworths launched an identical copy of the slick stick. This really helped us take it as a compliment, we know our cosmetic injectables aftercare is special and are just excited to know that we are the first to launch a dedicated aftercare solution for the aesthetic medicine industry in Australia.

The event featured an amazing line up of guest speakers including Slick Stick founder Mia Plecic, Rozalia Russian and Renee Enright. Mia spoke to the group of Geelong businesswomen about her many business challenges and the hard work it took to make the Slick Stick the successful business it is today, where as Rozalia took a different tact and spoke about the challenges of managing a business with kids and going through post-natal depression, her honesty was so much appreciated for Sam who had her baby in hospital whilst at the event.

Finally, Renee had the whole room in tears as she spoke about her friend who had recently passed away from Breast Cancer was promoting the “Support your girls” campaign.

The Arnicare range on showcase at the event was our Arnica healing balm, lip balm display stand, Arnica healing cream and our lip shaped ice packs. We are so proud of our range of aftercare for lip filler and antiwrinkle that we cannot wait to showcase again at another event.
